Jim, hope Dee is ok. I always forget to pack my EpiPen when we go places.Always remember after something happens. Dan, you family is wonderful. I couldn`t love your mom more. She is so special.We enjoy spending time with Kathy and Phil. We are also happy for your special event this weekend. Looking forward to that day.We hope to see everyone at least once more this year.

We wish to thank Linda and her family for doing a superb job.Tom was smiling down on us for sure. Sure do miss that wonderful man. Glad everyone mad it home safe. We unloaded good part of the camping gear to get ready for storage. We leave for Penn State Friday for our friends wedding at the chapel there on campus. We also are staying on campus Saturday. Friday is still is getting planned out , but good chance of seeing Manny and Leslie then. I also just found out the Old Fella rally is the same time as the one we were trying to plan for harbortown , so that would make alot of our group Old Fella and out west. I will check with Lee and Heidi to see what to do. I`m kind flexible, since Bob pointed out that I don`t have a job, (cut back ,cut back, cut back) so we can plan. Sorry for not knowing this ahead of time.I will post as soon as we can work thru this.

Well, in keeping with our 2009 tradition, we have to cancel this trip. Katie has a cheer competition in Columbus this Saturday. We thought it was in the morning. Heidi was planning on coming to Evergreen Thursday night after cheer practice. Then leave early Sat. morning for the competition, and come back early Sat. afternoon. Well, we just found out tonight that the competition for her group is from 1 - 5 Sat. afternoon. It's just not worth having her come up late Saturday night, just to turn around and go home Sun. morning.
We ARE going to Cedar Point the last weekend in October. For once, there are no other plans that weekend (barring the unforseen). Our apologies to all. This has not been a good year for camping.... 3 NASCAR trips and 2 camps at our local fairgrounds, and 1 trip to Cedar Point. Haley hasn't even obtained her season pass for CP this year! On the bright side, not enough trips for the MH to break down.
Hope to see those going to CP, and others next year. Steve, please forward next year's schedule to us.
Lee and Heidi
You guys will be missed, was looking forward to seeing the family, do we still want to host an event together? If so let me know what would work for you and when, so I can toss our name into the hat.

I finally got some good news!!!!!!I`M RETURNING TO WORK!!!!I`m still on restricted duty for life. No more than 15 lbs.So my employer will not take me back.14 YEARS DOWN THE DRAIN.So I had to go out searching for a new job.I applied on Tuesday and got a call to start when I get back from New Jersey after I get to spend some much needed time with my sister and brother after losing our mom.It`s not full- time, which is good for now after being off work for 17 months, 3weeks and 6 days, it will work for me right now.It`s also going to be a job that I did when I worked for Campbell Soup company back in New Jersey. I will be helping a girl with doing Q.C. work. I loved doing that work. So thank you Jesus for hearing my prayers and thank you Bob for loving me and helping me see I need to think of my health and not money when came to a job. This is a lesson that was hard to swallow. I`m now going to have a good night sleep for the first time in almost 18 months.

Thank you all for the prayers and kind words. My sister was the caregiver and my heart is breaking for her. She is living in mom`s house and is hearing mom calling her and she isn`t there. I can feel her pain. My back decided to go out the same day as mom died and been to the doctors 3 times. I can`t decide what is hurting more my back or my heart. I`m sure it`s the heart. Dee,what you said is what I told my sister to hold onto. Her son died when he was 4, and yesterday he would of been 21. So I told her mom wanted to be with him on his birthday. God it hurts so much.

Thank you all for the support. Dan, Your mom is special to me, so can we share.I knew this day would come, but I feel a hole in my heart.It feels weird not to have any parents. I Know she is in a better place.She loved Ted Kennedy, I`m picturing her and Ted walking threw the gates of Heaven together.

Sorry, I missed some birthdays and to say sorry Betsy is getting laid off. We were in Bristol for nascar race, stayed at my brother`s house which is a mile from track. Got home late Sunday.Woke up to sad news about Ted. Went to get ready for doctors appointment, bend over to get a top out of drawer, threw my back out. In so much pain.Went to store to get milk, and my sister called to say my mom passed away. I totally lost it in the store. Called my daughter Chris to come help me. I couldn`t put my food on the belt and couldn`t stop crying. We are going to take her to Jersey in a few weeks. She will now be with my brother and dad. Hug your moms for me

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. So far it has been great. Got cards in the mail , facebook birthday wishes some and Bob has spoiled me rotten, if that`s possible. I got a new bike for our bike rally, got my favorite coco channel perfume,he gave me a lottery ticket that got me an extra 20.00, bought another and turned it into 30.00. My daughter has been over and gave me two coach purses, friends have been calling. What more can I ask for???? Oh, got a free movie rental,cake and my favorite ice cream. Getting ready to get dolled up and go celebrate, 4 more years and I can get buck-eye card.

Made it home, and starting to unload some things. It is so hot out. Going to throw a suit on and jump in the pool. Well maybe not jump, just stand in the pool. My grand-kids had a good time along with our daughter and son. Brian is already planning on next year. Thanks for making them feel welcomed.
Dan, great rally!!!Didn`t get to give mom a hug good-bye. So please give her one from us.

We're back in B-ham and when we last saw my step-dad (Bubba), he was looking much better and seemed to be doing good. They are still running tests and don't know what happened exactly. We are all thankful that Tony and I were there, things could've been much worse if we had not been. God is good!
AND Tony earned his "goat milking badge" this weekend!!! My mom has goats and one of them HAS to be milked every night & morning. With my mom at the hospital with my step-dad, there was no on else willing or able to do it. Tony had watched her do it once 3 weeks ago and figured how hard could it be...this Parma boy done good! He said, "it's like brain surgery...watch one, do one, teach one!"
Thank you to all the prayers, he still needs them and I'll be shaken up for awhile. I can't wait to hug Tony's mom & step-dad later this week. Life is precious!
Hey Mel, glad he is doing ok. I know what you mean about life is precious. I got call the other morning at 3;30 in the morning saying they rush mom back to ER for the second time in two weeks. Mom lives in Florida. So I sat by the phone Thursday and friday , waiting to hear if I needed to fly down there. She is now in a nursing home to build her back up. Her blood presure dropped real low and had trouble breathing.She is 84 and seems to want to let go of living.
It will be good to see you guys.

Got to decide what we are bringing. All I do know is that we will be having our daughter and her three children, age 6,9, and 19. Our 19 year-old grand-daughter will be bringing her boyfriend again this year. Our daughter`s husband will be there after we are done canoeing.This year we are having additions to our pets joining us, our daughter`s two shtzu puppies will be there.Poor Snickers!!!
So we will have a tent or two added to our site.
